If you’ve been reading Claire K Creations for a little while it won’t be a secret that I love good food and dining out.
It’s always tricky to choose a new restaurant. I’m usually hit with the ‘but what if it’s no good?’ ‘Maybe we should go somewhere we know is good (like Sono, oh how I love Sono)?’
Usually new restaurants win a visit from me because a new restaurant means new place to blog about but if I didn’t have that argument I’d probably turn to what others have said. The Brisbane Times Good Food Guide is another easy way to find out about a potential dinner option.
They’re reviewers head in in secret (no camera blazing like me) and review places on the food, wine, service, ambiance, whether they’re good for kids and their accessibility. It’s a pretty good starting point for making up your mind if you’re indecisive like me. For the next few weeks, you can get 50% off the subscription rate to their online guide.
You can even book a restaurant directly from the review. It seems like a pretty good deal to me!
They have guides for other states as well but unfortunately my link only offers a discount to the Queensland version.
What about you? How do you pick a restaurant?
